This week was so exciting! We had a very special day in school which was all about the land of Israel. Morah showed us pictures of Israel, and a special wall called the Kotel. Israel is a very special place.We made Israeli flag hats that we loved wearing all around school. Next we ate falafel and squeezed orange juice like they do in the Kibbutz , it was so delicious. We went to the "beaches" of Israel and played in the sand, and then finally we made pictures and put them on our own "Kotel". Morah read us some books about Israel, and we loved them! We continued learning about Spring and we did many fun and interesting things. We learned that caterpillars turn into beautiful butterflies, and we did so many fun butterfly projects. We finished our beautiful spring projects by making handprint tulips and coffee filter butterflies - by painting coffee filters with water color sticking pipe cleaners down the middle. Our pictures are beautiful, we cannot wait to show them to you. We used forks and stamped them into paint and then onto our papers - they look like tulips, they're very pretty. We went on a hunt around the classroom to look for bugs, we found them and put them where they belong!
We cannot wait for next week!
