Dear Parents,
We had a super fun week in the Toddler class. We prepared for our Friday night Shabbat dinner by learning all about Shabbat! We decorated a beautiful Shabbat display table in our classroom, we enjoyed exploring the table and seeing all the special things for Shabbat. Morah taught us all about lighting candles , we light the candles to usher in the Shabbat. We glued silver foil on contact paper to create really beautiful Shabbat pictures. Next we learned about making Kiddush to start our Shabbat meal. We had sponges in the shape of a kiddush cup to stamp on papers, it looked really impressive! What a fun time we had squeezing our own grapes, and able to drink our very own grape juice, it was delicious! Then, we got to make a delicious dessert for the Friday night meal, we hope you enjoy it! We made beautiful shabbat crowns to wear while we perform. We are so excited, we've been practicing our special song that we are going to sing!
We can't wait to see all of you!
