B"H
Dear Parents,
The week began with a great Purim spirit! Thank you for the lovely mishloach manot. We had a Purim masquerade, and the costumes were adorable! Then we focused on learning our shapes. A triangle has three sides, and Morah brought a large triangle into the class. We were able to reach through it, and choose a triangle that we could feel with our own hands. We glued triangles on a big triangle to hang up on our bulletin board and did individual triangle sponge painting. Then we learned that a circle is round and has no end. This became clearer when everyone had a turn to walk on the round circle that was taped on the floor. We stamped circles on a large circle to hang up in our classroom and had the opportunity to string circle shaped cheerios. Finally, we practiced grouping circles and triangles and began our shapes book. Next week we will finish learning our shapes and bring home our project.
Thank you to our Shabbat Ima, Mia Dubitzky.
